But not everyone, and it might even be the case that relatively few folks who love your videos would be able to support such work with contributions.  Think about your demographic, and how most people who read your books are blissfully unaware of your video projects.

I think you’re better off with ads,  at least for the foreseeable future, as long as they’re around.
